<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment method capable of removing a volatile organic compound, and an exhaust gas treatment apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas is circulated to a scrubber vessel 2 filled with an irregular filling object 8 made of carbon deposited at random and forming a continuing void, and washing water containing a microorganism in the irregular filling object 8 is circulated/sprayed by a main water-spraying means 10 to dissolve the volatile organic compound. Micro nano-bubbles are introduced to the washing water to activate the microorganism, thereby, the volatile organic compound dissolved into the microorganism is decomposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
