<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt having ribs that are not peeled even when stress is repeatedly concentrated on the ribs, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the belt where the belt walk resulting from rib-peeling does not occur. <P>SOLUTION: The belt includes an elastic belt base material, an elastic projecting member provided so as to project from the belt base material along an edge on at least one side of the belt base material and an adhesive layer for adhering the belt base material and the projecting member, wherein the ten-point average height Rz in the belt base material area to which the projecting member is adhered is≥4μm, and the ten-point average height Rz in the projecting member area to which the belt base material is adhered is≥6μm, and the image forming apparatus is equipped with the belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
