<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good riding comfort of a railroad vehicle by increasing the bending rigidity of the structural body while minimizing an increase in the mass of the structural body. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcement plate 7 is stuck on the inside of a roof structural body 1 at the longitudinal center of a railroad vehicle structural body 10 formed of a roof structural body 1, side structural bodies 2, an underframe 3, and end structural bodies 4. The sticking range of the reinforcement plate 7 in the longitudinal direction of the railroad vehicle structural body 10 is between two caps 6. The lateral sticking range of the roof structural body 1 is approximately half the lateral length of the roof structural body 1. The plate thickness of the reinforcement plate 7 becomes thicker as the vertical height of the roof structural body 1 is increased. With this constitution, since the deformation of the roof structural body 1 at the longitudinal center of the railroad structural body 10 where a large deformation is produced can be suppressed, the bending rigidity of the railroad structural body 10 can be efficiently increased.
