<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner recovering device capable of suppressing the unnecessary attachment and detachment of a waste toner box. <P>SOLUTION: The waste toner recovering device for recovering the waste toner in an image forming apparatus includes the waste toner box 30 in which the waste toner is stored, a detection unit 38 which detects whether an amount of the waste toner is above the prescribed amount or not by the detection unit 38, a fixation release unit 39 which releases the fixation of the waste toner box 30 so as to enable removal of the waste toner box 30 when the detection unit 38 detects that the amount of the waste toner 41 is above the prescribed amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
