SINTERED ARTICLE, LUMINOUS TUBE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jointed article from an inorganic powder molding and a sintered article thereof in which a trouble at a joint portion is controlled or avoided.

SOLUTION: The sintered article of the jointed article from two or more inorganic powder moldings has a first component part corresponding to two or more inorganic powder moldings in the jointed article and a second component part corresponding to the joint part in the jointed article. The sintered article has either one or both of the following characteristics (a) and (b) wherein the second component part has a surface roughness equal to or less than that of the first component part (characteristic (a)), and the second component part has optical transmittance around the center thereof equal to or more than that of the first component part (characteristic (b)).
