PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera adjusting a parameter related to color processing with small labor and time, and a method for setting a color-processing parameter. SOLUTION: The method for setting the color-processing parameter include steps of: connecting a digital imaging apparatus generating a color-image data by color-processing image data picked up by an imaging element by a color processor and a computer by a communication path; setting the parameter used for the color processing in the computer; transferring the parameter from the computer to the digital imaging apparatus through the communication path; carrying out the color processing in the color processing section, on the basis of the parameter under the control of an emulator operated in the digital imaging apparatus; and storing the color-image data generated by the color processing based on the parameter in a memory.
