<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which can be manufactured in a simple manufacturing process, is easy in obtaining high definition, and can prevent a dark-point loss caused by short circuit of both at a contact part to conduct a pixel electrode layer and wiring, and an electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 1 comprises: a substrate 10 on which a plurality of light-emitting elements 20 are arranged; a wiring layer 30 formed on the substrate 10, including a plurality of wirings 33 which respectively flow drive current of the plurality of light-emitting elements 20, and provided with a plurality of recessed parts 34 with the plurality of wirings 33 respectively bottomed in a non-pixel region N other than the pixel region G; a plurality of pixel electrode layers 41 which are installed on the wiring layer 30 for every light-emitting element 20 and each contain a pixel electrode 21 and are in contact with wiring 60 respectively at the recessed part 34; and a counter electrode layer 43 which contains a counter electrode 23 of the plurality of the light-emitting elements 20.
