<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a view-field angle of an in-vehicle radar apparatus is made narrow, and the tracking capability of the radar apparatus is lowered and made difficult to capture an obstruction, in the case that the velocity of a vehicle is high, or its turning radius is small. <P>SOLUTION: An in-vehicle radar system includes an in-vehicle radar apparatus 1 and a lighting device 2 of an AFS (Adapted Front-lighting System). The radar apparatus 1 includes a control means 16 for controlling a deflection angle in a scanning zone of the radar apparatus 1 based on a swivel angle representing the lighting direction of the lighting device 2, thereby alleviating the problem of lowering the radar detection capability under a curve driving operation for example. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
