BROADBAND INTERNAL ANTENNA HAVING MODIFIED SHORTING STRUCTURE AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL HAVING THE SAME

A broadband internal antenna having a modified shorting structure and a mobile communication terminal having the same are provided to implement miniaturization of the antenna and the mobile communication terminal by facilitating serial and parallel attachment of a passive element or an active element. A broadband internal antenna(200) having a modified shorting structure includes a ground plate(210), a radiation plate(220), a short circuit strip(230), and a feed device(250). The ground plate is composed of a thin plate conductor. The radiation plate is spaced apart from the ground plate and composed of a thin plate conductor divided into a first region(222), a second region(224), and a stub(226). The first and second regions form a transmission path of a signal through a groove unit formed by a plurality of slots. The stub connects the first region and the second region. The short circuit strip includes integrally formed first and second strips apart from each other and generates a reactance component between the first and second strips by electrically connecting one ends of the first and second strips to the ground plate and one end of the second region respectively. The feed device feeds current to the radiation plate by being electrically connected to the second region.
