A container for a refrigerator is provided to prevent and minimize the noise and shock that are generated in the process of pivoting a handle, by minimizing the contact area between the handle and a handle placement portion. A container for a refrigerator includes a container body(60), a container cover(70) and at least one handle(80). A predetermined receiving space is formed in the container body. The container cover selectively covers and opens the receiving space of the container body. The handle is installed on one side of the container cover to pivot vertically. A contact protrusion that comes into contact with the container cover is installed on one side of the handle. The contact protrusion comes into contact with the bottom surface of a handle placement portion(75) in the state that the handle is placed on the handle placement portion.
