An apparatus for removing the stalk of pepper is provided to prevent the pericarp of pepper from being damaged, thereby allowing the pepper with its stalk removed to be stored for a long time. An apparatus for removing the stalk of pepper comprises: a first transfer part(10) through which peppers are transferred; a second transfer part(20) which is formed at a fixed distance from the rear end of the first transfer part; a pneumatic cylinder(30) which is passed through a space(25) between the first and second transfer parts and has a stalk removing part(31); and a control part which consists of a sensing part(41) and a processing part. The sensing part senses a pepper to operate the pneumatic cylinder, when the stalk of the pepper passes through the upper part of the space between the first and second transfer parts. The processing part processes the sensed data and operates the pneumatic cylinder. |
