摘要 The invention provides a method of enhancing the recovery of mined materials from screenbowl centrifuge separation operations comprising adding an anionic copolymer to the screenbowl centrifuge. Typically the mined materials are potassium chloride and the anionic copolymer is selected from the group consisting of copolymers of acrylamide and acrylic acid and salts thereof and is added to the screenbowl centrifuge in an amount from about 0.005 lbs active polymer/ton dry solids in centrifuge to about 0.70 lbs active polymer/ton dry solids in centrifuge.
