#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a rod i.e. threaded rod (20), fixed in a ceiling (18) by extending the rod downwards from the ceiling. Stiffening units are constituted by a tubular female connector (4), a tubular intermediate element (6) and a tubular male connector (10) which is integrated with a support (8). The stiffening units surround the rod along its length from the support to the ceiling, where the support is maintained on the rod by a nut (24) cooperating with a threading of the rod. A head plate (2) is integrated with the stiffening units and is supported against the ceiling. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for suspending a support to receive a raceway and to house, support and protect a flexible conduit e.g. electric conduit or cable or pure fiber that is utilized for transmitting information in an electrical and optical manner. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The threaded rod is fixed in the ceiling by extending the rod downwards from the ceiling, thus carrying out the central suspension using the threaded rod and assembling of the device in a simple, rapid and inexpensive manner, while ensuring reduced encumbrance in the raceway and better rigidity of the device.
