<p>A retractor 10 includes a spindle 12 for winding a seat belt; a frame 11 for rotatably supporting the spindle 12; a winding spring 130 for biasing the rotation of the spindle 12 in the direction of winding the seat belt; and a magnetic disc 150 and a magnet sensor unit 160 for detecting the rotation of the spindle 12. The magnetic disc 150 and the magnet sensor unit 160 are disposed between the frame 11 and the winding spring 130, each made of a magnetic material. Hence, the device can be less affected by a disturbance magnetic field and can detect the rotation of the spindle at high reliability.</p> |
