<p>A bag sealing system has a bag sealer 30 which can be stored inside a case 10. The case 10 can support the bag sealer 30 outside the case when sealing bags. The case 10 may have a slot 22, 24, 26 to receive the bag sealer 30, to stand the bag sealer 30 up, ready for use. The bag sealer 30 can also be removed from the case 10 and held manually, or slotted into a cradle of a refuse bin (fig 5); the cradle may be retro fitted to a garbage bin (fig 6). The bag sealer 30 may have a friction fit inside the case 10, and a tab 33, which can be pulled to remove the bag sealer 30 from the case 10, before the bag sealer 30 is supported upright in the case stand 10. The bag sealer 30 may have a spool 50 of adhesive tape 54 and a cutter 58 for cutting the tape 54 once tape is applied to the end of a bag passed through a channel in the bag sealer 30 (figs 4a, 4b and 4c). The case 10 can keep the adhesive tape 54 clean, e.g. from dust.</p> |
