The adjustable tool is designed around a common height distance between finished work top height and the underside of the wall cabinet. The legs on the tool are height adjustable with a tolerance of twenty five to thirty millimetres up or down. This will help to accommodate any height loss or gain due to uneven floor surfaces, should you need to level the wall cabinet with the top of an already fitted tall cabinet. When the tool is placed in an upright position whereby the first cabinet is to be installed, the unit will stand independently. This will allow the user to make any level adjustments required by turning the adjustable legs until satisfied. The tool will now support any wall cabinet independently to give the user the chance to check the horizontal level of the cabinet, which then allows the user to mark the cabinet gable for scribing if needed. The cabinet can then be installed safely. |
