<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger pinching prevention structure of a door apparatus capable of preventing a finger from being damaged even if the finger is pinched without impairing the aesthetic appearance of the door apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This finger pinching prevention structure of a door apparatus comprises a door frame 1 and a door body 2. The depth wall of the lifting side vertical frame 11 of the door frame 1 comprises a first portion 11A opposed to the lifting side end surface 23 of the door body when closed, a second portion 11B positioned on the indoor side, and a recessed groove 11c for fitting an airtight member formed between the indoor side portion of the first portion 11A and the outdoor side portion of the second portion 11B. The outdoor side portion of the second portion 11B is a projecting piece 11D forming the recessed groove 11C.
