<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generating system with a start assisting function, capable of starting rotation even at a low wind speed. <P>SOLUTION: When a wind speed sensor detects a wind speed of specified value or higher, a standby timer function is actuated by a timer device. When a standby timer period expires, a drive timer function with a shorter period is selected. A power generator is switched to a motor by a switching relay only during the drive timer period, for rotation for assisting start using a drive circuit. When the drive timer period expires, the standby timer period is resumed. The above processes are repeated as necessary. During this period, when the rotational speed of a rotor being monitored by a rotational speed measuring instrument based on an output voltage Vm of a three-phase energizing coil becomes a specified value or higher, power generation by a three-phase generator and charging to a battery are started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
