<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic gyro capable of being easily incorporated in a portable electronic apparatus, or the like, in which the reduction in the size and increase in density are in progress. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic gyro includes a three-axis magnetic sensor 2 for detecting terrestrial magnetism as a magnetic vector, in a three-axis orthogonal coordinate system fixed to a measurement object; a memory 3 for storing data of the magnetic vector detected in a time series manner by the three-axis magnetic sensor 2, when the measurement object is rotated with one of three axes of the three-axis orthogonal coordinate system as a rotational axis; a rotational axis determination means 4 for determining the rotational axis, on the basis of the data on the magnetic vector of two or more different time points stored in the memory; and a rotational angle calculation means 5 for calculating the rotational angle around the rotational axis, determined as being the rotational axis of the measurement object on the basis of the data on the magnetic vector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
