The wheelchair has a chair frame (1) with laterally arranged driving wheels (3), which are connected by a wheel shaft (9). A seat is arranged between the driving wheels and the auxiliary wheels. A seat surface (2) of the seat is arranged in a tilting manner along a wheel axle (6) of the driving wheels. The tilting axis of the seat is located centrally between the driving wheels and above the wheel axle. The seat is tilted in two directions, where a lever (22) is articulated in the outer portions (23) of the seat surface. The seat surface is connected with a lateral buckling (91) of the crankshaft-shaped wheel shaft in an articulated manner.
