Disclosed is a smoke projectile comprising a pyrotechnic active charge which emits in the infrared range and is impenetrable in the visible range. The aim of the invention is to create a smoke projectile which has a simple design while resulting in the line of sight quickly fading in the infrared and visible radiation range on impact at a wide solid angle. The active charge ( 2 ) forms a hollow cylinder-shaped stack which comprises several layers ( 5 ) of hollow cylinder segments ( 6 ) and is disposed within a burnable outer coating ( 4 ). |
