PURPOSE: A billiards simulator is provided to be used as a learning tool for a billiard learner by indicating the trajectory of a cue ball to be cued by the learner. CONSTITUTION: A billiards simulator(100) is installed in a housing which is installed on the ceiling opposite to a billiard table(10) The billiards simulator comprises a camera(101) and a trajectory controlling unit. The camera records the layout of billiard table, and a cue ball(5) and object balls(6 and 7) which are arranged on the billiard table, and then generates a image signal. The trajectory controlling unit refers to the image signal and distinguishes between the cue ball and the object balls. The trajectory controlling unit calculates trajectory that one of cue balls cues the object balls, and displays the calculated trajectory on a display device. |
