.cndot. A holographic projection device for displaying a 3-dimensional image comprises a cylindrical base having a diagonally-cut top portion, and a figurine. The cylindrical base comprises a reflection-type hologram, a point source of white light, and a magnetic element. The figurine has a diagonally-cut bottom portion, and comprises a magnetic element. The reflection-type hologram projects an upright orthoscopic image having both horizontal and vertical parallaxes. The cylindrical base has the capability of detachably mounting the figurine with a magnetic attraction force between the magnetic elements. A downward movement of the magnetic element by gravity turns on the point source of white light when the figurine is detached. An upward movement of the magnetic element turns off the point source of white light when the figurine is magnetically attached. This invention relates to holographic projection devices for displaying a 3-dimensional image, and the principal use of the invention is for optical decoration. |
