PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in mass production of a dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO), it is necessary to highly accurately adjust a position at which a dielectric resonator is to be installed, so that the time required for assembly may be increased and if a terminating resistor at the distal end of a transmission line that is electromagnetically coupled with the dielectric resonator and constitutes a resonator and a ground means are formed on a dielectric substrate, manufacturing costs may be increased.
SOLUTION: In components of a DRO, only a transmission line is formed on a dielectric substrate and an active element for oscillation, a terminating resistor and a ground means on a microwave monolithic IC (MMIC) chip are connected with the transmission line by a metal wire, a metal ribbon or the like. Furthermore, in the middle of the transmission line at a side of the active element for oscillation when viewed from a dielectric resonator, an open stub is formed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
