<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type container in which the bottom surface section has less warpage even when a heavy article is housed while maintaining performances such as being light, being inexpensive, being excellent in water resistance, and being excellent in cold shock property as they are. <P>SOLUTION: For this box type container having bottom, at least the bottom surface section is molded into a sandwich style equipped with a core layer and surface layers which are installed in a manner to pinch the core layer from the top and the bottom. In the box type container having bottom, the surface layer is formed of a resin composition (A) of which the principal component is a block copolymerization polypropylene based resin, and of which the mold shrinkage ranges from 15/1,000 to 19/1,000. The core resin composition layer is formed of a talc containing resin composition (B) of which the principal component is a block copolymerization polypropylene based resin, and of which the mold shrinkage ranges from 11/1,000 to 14/1,000.
