<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device allowing detection of multipoint simultaneous input with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: This input device has: a touch panel having two resistance films overlappingly disposed at a spacing such that they contact with each other when pressed; a voltage supply means for applying different potential to both ends in a prescribed direction of one of the resistance films; a potential measurement means for measuring potential of both ends in a direction crossing the prescribed direction of the other of the resistance films; and a decision means for deciding presence/absence of the multipoint simultaneous input based on a difference of the potential of both the ends measured by the potential measurement means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
