THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE (100) THAT INCLUDES A MONITOR (111) ADAPTED FOR USE IN BOTH A HORIZONTAL DIRECTION AND A VERTICAL DIRECTION, A CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT (CPU) ADAPTED FOR USE IN BOTH A HORIZONTAL DIRECTION AND A VERTICAL DIRECTION, A CHASSIS (102,105) COUPLED TO THE MONITOR (111) AND THE CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT (CPU), THE CHASSIS (102,105) CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE AIR INLET (106) WHICH ALLOWS AIR FROM OUTSIDE OF THE CHASSIS (102,105) TO ENTER THE CHASSIS (102,105) AND AT LEAST ONE AIR OUTLET (107) WHICH ALLOWS THE AIR FROM AN AIR GAP (110) TO EXIT THE CHASSIS (102,105) AND AT LEAST ONE HEAT SPREADER (101) WHEREIN THE HEAT SPREADER (101) IS THERMALLY CONNECTED TO THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB) (104) IN THE ELECTRONIC DEVICE (100), WHEREIN THE HEAT FROM THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB) (104) IS CONDUCTED TO THE HEAT SPREADER (101), PRIOR TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE AIR FLOWING THROUGH THE AIR GAP (110). |
