Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for computation processing in a mobile terminal with multiple wireless interfaces. A parameter estimation unit estimates a parameter value related to computation being processed in a mobile terminal connected to a remote server through multiple wireless interfaces in a mobile cloud computing environment. An energy calculation unit calculates energy consumed by the mobile terminal with each wireless interface based on the estimated parameter value, with regard to both cases that computation is directly processed in the mobile terminal and computation is offloaded into and processed in the remote server. An operating mode decision unit determines an operating mode of the mobile terminal by comparing each calculated energy consumption. According to the present invention, conditions for minimizing energy consumption are appropriately chosen, such as the presence of offloading and a wireless interface type by considering energy consumption in a mobile terminal, which is predicted with regard to respective interfaces, when an operation mode is decided.
