PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem revolved in a printer system in which two printers are coupled: toner in each printer is apt to become uneven in consumption, so that replenishing time differs, and an operator can not replenish the two printers with the toner at the same time, consequently, the operator performs toner replenishing work frequently and operator's working efficiency is degraded. SOLUTION: The printer system 1 constituted of two coupled printers 3 and 6 includes: a consumed toner calculation part 14 calculating toner consumption of odd-numbered pages and that of even-numbered pages of a printing job before printing; a toner residual amount control part 17 controlling the residual amount of toner in the two printers; and a page control part 18 distributing the printing job whose toner consumption is larger, out of the odd-numbered pages of printing job and the even-numbered pages of printing job, to the printer whose residual amount of toner is large, and the printing job whose toner consumption is smaller to the printer whose residual amount of toner is smaller, in accordance with the residual amount of the toner in the two printers.
