The invention relates to a process for removing SOand NOfrom industrial flue gases. According to the invention, the process consists in conditioning the flue gases by the injection of a 25% aqueous ammonia solution, irradiation with beams of medium-energy accelerated electrons, simultaneously with the dispersion of a quantity of fine water droplets in the reaction zone and modifying the parameters depending on the monitoring results.
