The present invention relates to an electronic paper display device having a speaker function so that an electronic paper itself can perform the speaker function without a separate speaker by combining a solid vibration module (piezoelectric module) and the electronic paper. The device of the present invention comprises an electronic paper sheet which displays a picture, a piezoelectric module which contacts the electronic paper sheet so that the electronic paper sheet can generate the sound without the separate speaker, a piezoelectric driving unit which receives an input of an audio signal to drive the piezoelectric module, an electronic paper driving unit which receives an input of a video signal to drive the electronic paper, and a frame which supports the electronic paper sheet, wherein the piezoelectric module may be attached to a lower plate of the electronic paper sheet or to the frame. The electronic paper display device having a speaker function according to the present invention can provide the audio-visual characteristics without an external speaker by combining the electronic paper with the bone conduction speaker technology, thereby advantageously reducing the manufacturing cost along with having a thin profile by reducing the size of the electronic paper display device. |
