The invention relates to a tyre with a radial carcass reinforcement made up of at least one layer (2) of metal reinforcing elements, said tyre comprising a crown reinforcement (5) itself radially capped by a tread (6), said tread being connected to two beads by two sidewalls. According to the invention, the metal reinforcing elements of at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement (2) are unreinforced cords which, on a so-called permeability test, exhibit a throughput of less than 20 cm/mn and at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement (2) being provided on at least one side with textile threads (10) directed mainly in a direction parallel to that of the metal reinforcing elements (7) of the said at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement (2), said textile threads (10) undulating about this main direction. |
