<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear structure capable of improving the rigidity of the whole of a vehicle body rear part while improving the supporting rigidity of a retractor mounting part. <P>SOLUTION: A retractor mounting reinforce 40 is constituted so that a front end 42 is connected to a C pillar reinforce 12 and extended in the vehicle longitudinal direction and a rear end 46 is arranged at the rear part upper side of a wheel house extension 22.
