PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for manufacturing a hose clamp are provided to improve the quality and the productivity of the hook-shaped hose clamp manufactured by bending a material round and spot-welding both ends of the material. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a hose clamp includes a main body part (10), a feeding part (20), a cutting part, a first bending part, a transferring part (50), a second bending part (60), a third bending part (70), a welding part (80), and a loading part (90). The main body part is mounted on a floor. The feeding part feeds a material with horizontally guiding the material from outside. The cutting parts at both sides of the material simultaneously and respectively cut both ends of the material. The first bending part firstly bends the both ends of the material into arcs. The transferring part transfers the material to the front center of the main body part. The second bending part secondly bends both sides of the central portion of the material into the arcs. The third bending part thirdly bends the both ends of the material into the arcs, and forms the material into a hook of which both ends are overlapped. The welding part completes the hook-shaped hose clamp. The loading part transversely moves the packing box into which the completed hose clamp drops. |
