<p>The invention relates to an installation for dosing a defoaming substance into an installation for separating the foam from natural gases. According to the invention, the installation comprises a cylinder () for dosing a defoaming substance placed in a container () of an installation for separating the foam from natural gases and connected thereto by means of some electric valves () for pressurizing the defoaming substance and for introducing the defoaming substance into the container (), respectively, the supply of the cylinder () from a tank () with defoaming substances, mounted above the upper level of the cylinder (), being carried out by gravity, by means of an electric valve (), in order to ensure the filling of the cylinder () there is mounted an electric valve () for depressurization and aeration, and the checking installation is emptied manually by means of a purge valve (), the electric valves () being actuated by a process computer () which has implemented a process control program, the cylinder () being provided with a level sensor () which controls automatically the start and stop of the filling upon reaching a pre-established dose of a defoaming substance, the container () being provided with a sensor () for foam detection which controls the start of the process, the introduction of the defoaming substance into the container () being carried out by means of a spraying nozzle ().</p> |
