PURPOSE: A method for extracting arabinoxylan from rice bran is provided to improve yield and purity from rice bran and to obtain arabinoxylan with anticancer activity and immune function improvement. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting arabinoxylan from rice bran comprises: a step of treating the rice bran with alpha-amylase and removing starch; a step of adding an alkali solution to the rice bran; a step of treating the alkali-treated rice bran solution with an ethanol solution, collecting a lower layer solution, and obtaining an arabinoxylan crude extract; and a step of mixing the crude extract in distilled water and dialyzing the distilled water. |
