The present invention relates to a waste disposal unit which has a structure to simply discharge the food garbage with minimizing the volume by drying and smashing the food garbage, thereby conveniently performing a collecting and treating process. The waste disposal unit of the present invention comprises a main body (11); a container (14) which is installed to contain food garbage; a mixing and cutting means (15) which is installed in the container in order to stir and smash the food garbage; a heater (19) which is installed in the main body (11) to dry the food garbage in the container (14); a deodorizing means (20) which is installed to remove the smell which is generated from the food garbage in the container (14); an outlet (27) which is formed in the side wall of the container (14); a door (29) which is installed in the main body (11) or the container (14) in order to open and close the outlet (27); a controller (31) which is connected to operate an opening and closing means (28) which is installed in one side of the main body (11) to operate the door (29); and a discharging box (30) which is positioned to face the outlet (27) in the lower side of the container (14) by being detachably installed in the main body (11) and collects food garbage. |
