<p>The invention relates to a magnetostrictive vibromotor with eccentric rotor, meant to obtain low speeds, up to a few rotations per minute, and to high torques, under the conditions of industrial frequency supply, without using mechanical reducers. According to the invention, the vibromotor consists of a stator inside whereof, in an eccentric manner, there is placed a rotor, which consists of a hub (1), eccentrically mounted on an axle (2), the hub (1) is provided, on its outer circumference, with a ball bearing (3) upon which there acts the motor stator comprising multiple magnetostrictive vibrators (A, B, C, D), placed on a circular support (4), each vibrator consisting of a terfenol rod (5) embedded with the upper extremity in the circular support (4), and said terfenol rod (5) acts, by elongation, by means of the free extremity, upon the ball bearing (3), determining the rotor displacement by one step; each terfenol rod (5) is under the action of the magnetic field created by some coils (6) fed with impulses of appropriate polarity, created by an impulse generator (7) and distributed by means of an impulse distributor (8).</p> |
