The present invention relates to a method for a terminal to select a cell in a heterogeneous network. A method for a terminal to select a cell in a heterogeneous network according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps: a step of receiving a measurement restriction pattern from a base station; and a cell selection step for selecting a cell based on the received measurement restriction pattern. According to an embodiment of the present invention, cell selection can be performed accurately and efficiently.
