Disclosed are a method and a system for executing a user-defined function. The method for executing a user-defined function in a user terminal obtains tag information by reading an electronic tag; and executes user-defined function registered in the terminal for corresponding to the tag information. The user terminal comprises a reader for reading an electronic tag and obtaining tag information; and a processor for executing a user-defined function corresponding to the tag information.
