DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

A display panel is divided into a display area, a non-display area which surrounds the display area, and a pad area which is extended from at least one side of the non-display area. The non-display area includes an array substrate which includes a first non-display area adjacent to the pad area and a second non-display area except the first non-display area; a counter substrate which faces the array substrate and includes a second base substrate and a common electrode arranged on the second base substrate; and a liquid crystal layer which is arranged between the array substrate and the counter substrate. The array substrate includes a first base substrate which is arranged on the display area and the non-display area; a polymer organic material layer which is arranged on the pad area and the first non-display area; a thin film transistor which is arranged on the display area; a pixel electrode which is connected to the thin film transistor; and a signal input pad which is connected to the thin film transistor and arranged on the polymer organic material layer of the pad area. The polymer organic material layer of the first non-display area is arranged on the first base substrate.
