The mast (8) for diffusing a mist of droplets has at least one opening (20) that is elongate parallel to a main axis (16) of the mast. It comprises a flat wall (40) able to extend transversally to the axis, between a first part of the mast and the opening, being situated on the same side of the axis as this opening and forming a communication between the main part and the opening through the mast.
