<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate (10) with a display area including gate lines and data lines defining cells, where each cell has a pixel electrode. A driving circuit is provided on the substrate, and a signal line includes lower and upper lines overlapping each other with an insulation layer. The signal line is adjacent to the driving circuit, and another signal line connects the former signal line to the driving circuit, where the signal lines are formed in a dual conductive-layer structure by interposing the insulation layer between the lower and upper lines. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method of fabricating a display device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for displaying an image. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The dual conductive-layer structure prevents defects caused by a disconnected signal line.
