Colorant composition in the form of foam comprises at least one oxidation dye precursor, at least one oxidizing agent, at least one alkaline agent and at least one nonionic surfactant. Colorant composition in the form of foam comprises at least one oxidation dye precursor, at least one oxidizing agent, at least one alkaline agent and at least one nonionic surfactant having a structure of formula (R-O-(CH 2-CH 2-O) n-H) (I). R : linear or branched 10-18C-alkyl or -alkenyl, preferably linear 12C-alkyl; and n : 8-15, preferably 10-14. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for coloring human keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising mixing a composition comprising the dye precursor and the alkaline agent with a composition comprising the oxidizing agent, and applying the obtained mixture in the form of foam, to the hair, where (I) is present in at least one of two compositions; (2) an aerosol device comprising a means for generating the composition in form of foam; (3) a non-aerosol device comprising a bottle equipped with a mechanical pumping system and comprising the composition in liquid form, and a dispensing system for delivering the composition in foam form; and (4) a multi-compartment device comprising a first composition containing the oxidation dye precursor, the alkaline agent and (I) in a first compartment, and a second composition containing the oxidizing agent(s) in a second compartment, where one of the two compartments is equipped with a component for delivering the composition in foam form after mixing with the other composition, or the component for delivering the composition in foam form is included in a third compartment comprising the colorant composition. |
