The present invention allows a customer to acquire information printed on a receipt without considerable modification to the configuration of a device such as a POS register for processing product a product sale. The information management system (1) has: a printer (3) for printing a receipt on the basis of transaction information related to a product sale; a receipt database (7) for storing the transaction information in correlation with a unique ID (52); a member service server (6) for registering the unique ID (52) in the receipt database (7); an NFC reader (45) for reading the unique ID (52); and a control unit (30) for determining whether the unique ID (52) is registered in the receipt database (7), causing the transaction information and access information for accessing a member registration server (62) to be printed when the unique ID (52) has not been registered, and transmitting the unique ID (52) and the transaction information to the member service server (6) when the unique ID (52) has been registered. |
