The present invention relates to a bidirectional communication system using an image screen of a smartphone, and a method thereof. In the past, there have been numerous systems or methods in the form of an advertisement which unilaterally delivers information in one direction, but the delivery was made passively and unilaterally in one direction, and therefore, cost effectiveness was low. The challenges desired to be overcome in the present invention is to convert such a one-directional advertisement delivery method into bidirectional communications by making an image screen and transmitting/receiving information in an interactive way, thereby increasing the usefulness of an advertisement, and also, to achieve immediate promotion effects through local information, nearby affiliated store coupons, events, etc. by utilizing location information of a customer, and to enable a consumer to purchase a required product at low cost or purchase a product while accumulating points. In order to overcome such challenges, the present invention can link an administrator server with an application of a smartphone, perform bidirectional communications through several steps by using signals and image screens, and especially, transmit/receive information by using spare time while making/receiving a call or spare time set by a consumer, or transmit/receive useful information through a question-and-answer mode based on the status of the smartphone.
