FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy field, particularly to manufacturing of aluminium foam. Method includes loading of powder composition into the envelope, heating in pusher-type furnace up to the temperature not less than 500C, hot compaction, cutting of compacted semifinished section for sheet billets and high-temperature treatment for effervescence process implementation. Formation for the envelope is implemented of two uniformly fed coiled strip. From the first coiled strip it is formed bottom part of the envelope with foundation and folding walls. Then on the bottom part of the envelope it is applied the second coiled strip and assembled blank is fed to curling of folding sections along the full length. Manufacturing line contains feeder of powder mixture for heating, pusher-type furnace, heated gutter with rollers, feeding powder mixture for compaction, stand of hot compaction of semifinished section from the powder mixture, scissors of cutting-to-length of compacted semifinished section for sheet billets of length, collecting roller table and furnace for effervescence of sheet billets. Additionally, line is outfitted by wrapping device for powder mixture into the envelope. ^ EFFECT: receiving of qualitative sheet billets with uniform mechanical characteristics. ^ 10 cl, 7 dwg |
