The present invention relates to an insecticidal composition for disinfecting a cattle shed and a poultry farm, and a preparation method therefor, and more specifically, to an insecticidal composition comprising 0.1-30 parts by weight of formic acid and 0.1-20 parts by weight of an active ingredient (acaricide) for exterminating ticks. The insecticidal composition of the present invention has an immediate acaricidal effect on chicken mites (mites, red mites) within 24 hours and shows a sustained acaricidal effect for at least one month. Accordingly, when the insecticidal composition is periodically used, it is possible to reduce the stress on domestic animals and to block the infection of other chicken mite-mediated pathogenic organisms by decreasing the dispersion of chicken mites.
