<p>Disclosed is a cab protection apparatus which protects the driver from a deforming cab structure or a heavy object in the event an excavator or the like is turned over or a heavy object falls onto the cab. The cab protection apparatus according to the present invention includes: a lower traveling body; an upper frame pivotably mounted on the lower traveling body; the cab, which is mounted on the upper frame; a working apparatus pivotably mounted on the upper frame; a front guard applied to the cab protection apparatus for construction machinery where a protection structure is mounted outside the cab and is hingedly coupled to the front support frame of the protection structure so as to be capable of being opened and closed in order to protect the front portion of the cab; a striker that is mounted on the front support frame; and a locking apparatus having a latch which is mounted on the front guard so as to be locked to or unlocked from the striker.</p> |
