The present invention relates to a gel-type cosmetic composition for making up and/or caring for the skin, comprising at least one gelled aqueous phase containing at least 3% by weight, relative to its total weight, of particles of at least one (d-C4) carboxyalkyl starch and whose particle size ranges from 25 to 300 muiotaeta, and an oily phase gelled with at least one texturing agent, with one of said phases constituting the continuous phase of said composition in which the other phase is uniformly dispersed.
